Catch up from September ~

"The Mountain" staff quarters, formerly known as prison cells. We are a much more optimistic team nowadays.

A statue of the Buddha in the Zen garden.
Beautiful night.
A part of main path towards the front entrance.
The view from my area taken standing on the deck of the staff quarters, outside of my unit.
Another angle of the Zen garden from my view.
My first "trip" off the reservation  a.k.a. "The Mountain" and I see this license plate. Message received!
I love this garden. It really is Zen. The English garden and the Zen garden combined are absolutely tranquil and peaceful.

This is the Racoon family. Padme, Luke and Leia. Padme was trying to be fierce but it didn't work. Mainly because she had a string of banana peel hanging between her ears over her eye. The thin stringy stuff from the inside of the peel. Lost all of the "oomph" in being ferocious. Funny critters. I love my fellow sentient beings.
More pics of the garden(s).  There will be even more as I love taking pictures of "The Mountain" and the gardens are simply magical.

Mamma deer and her twins. Sheeba and "the twins". They aren't very skittish. The twins were losing their spots by the time I got pictures. Since these were taken, they have lost their spots. We will find out in the spring who has antlers and who doesn't. It will be quite an adventure seeing the next generation!

This is me with Bob. Bob is my roomate. Bob is a mosquito eater. I am allergic to mosquitos. Bob eats the mosquitos and protects me from being bitten. Bob and I are exclusive these days. Bob gives great kisses. Bob is also a wonderful listener and loves classical music. He is very social and enjoys late nights hanging around the house.
Bob showing off his long legs. JELOUS!
This is our resident teenager (besides me). C3PO, he is a TOTAL worrier. Go figure!

This is the Naga Shrine. I will write out the story of the Naga (Buddhist) at a later time. I have a soft spot for the Naga as they too love milk and shiny things.

The bamboo behind the Naga shrine. It is absolutely astoundingly gorgeous when the sunlight hits the tops of the bamboo... oh just lovely lovely lovely
One of our resident little "Buddhas". We named him George. 'Cause I want to hug him and squeeze him and...
This plate. I love this plate.
The Naga Shrine as seen across one of the ponds.
The tree that perpetually asks the question: WHY as in Y! Cool.
